The beauty parlour

Nicole's Poodle Parlour is a grooming service that operates within our building. All dog breeds are welcome and the service includes hydrobathing, blow drying, general grooming, clipping and nail cutting.

Nicole has been a professional dog groomer since 1995 and has been running “Nicole’s Poodle Parlour” on the Hospital’s premises since 2000. She loves working with dogs and derives lots of satisfaction from seeing them going home happy and excited after their grooming experience. Sometimes we can’t believe the transformations that Nicole produces – we have seen dogs come in who are shaggy, dirty and matted and they bounce out in the afternoon looking clean, shiny and perfectly groomed.

Nicole says that when she first started grooming many years ago, she owned American Pit Bull Terriers and didn’t think she liked little dogs. Within a year of grooming she got her first little dog – a Maltese X Silky Terrier and she has loved little dogs ever since. She now owns a Miniature Poodle (Bella), two Standard Poodles (Dallas and Bosun), a Toy Poodle (Sebastian), one cat (Seiko), and two Guinea Pigs. In her spare time she enjoys walking the dogs, reading and shopping. She says she would love to go on holiday with her husband and young son and daughter, but it is a bit difficult with so many dogs! In the past Nicole has rescued quite a few cats and dogs and found good homes for them and her dream is to one day open a rescue service especially for Poodles, Dobermans and Persian cats.

Bookings are essential. Phone Nicole on 0419 330 379 between 8am-6pm Mondays to Fridays. Usually you will get voice mail, and Nicole says she will get back to you within 24 hours.

When you drop off your pet you can chat to Nicole about styles and any special requests.

Hydrobath

A self-serve hydrobath is available. Or if you like we can wash your dog for you. Please phone for a booking. We also have a full range of shampoos and grooming products.
