Skin problems are one of the most common problems we encounter. Our Team members offer patients an extensive range of skin, ear and allergy medicines. The diagnosis, treatment and management of skin disease will vary from patient to patient. Many pets suffer allergies which bring about skin infection. We firstly identify and treat the initial disease to ease pain. Then we manage the underlying problem to reduce reoccurrence.

Ear care

Sore ears are very common. The ear canal is much longer than a human’s, extending up to 7.5 cm long from the ear flap to the ear drum. Often ears are full of infected wax which prevents medicine getting deep down. We use a comprehensive approach to all cases to make sure your pet remains healthy and comfortable.

Some cases will require anaesthesia to have the infected wax cleaned away and close ear drum inspection for possible damage. We are fortunate to own video-otoscopy which provides several important diagnostic and therapeutic advantages over traditional hand-held otoscopes. This includes improved visualization, enhanced debris removal and increased accuracy.
