Gillian has been working at MVH since October 2009; she is a qualified vet nurse with over 13 years experience both here and in the UK. Despite her high school careers adviser telling her she’ll “change her mind” it’s the only jobs she’s ever wanted to do.

Gillian lives with Billy a 3 legged cat who she rescued after he was hit by a car in 2009. She also has 2 other cats and 2 budgies that are living the ‘retirement’ life with her parents and their cat and dog.

In her spare time Gill work’s at an emergency hospital in Werribee and loves to travel. Last year taking trip to India where she did some volunteer work with Free the Bears. Next on the cards she is planning a trip to Sumatra to work with Elephants and see Orangutans in the wild.
