Dr Anna Watts first joined MVH in 2000. She had previous veterinary experience in Melbourne and England, where she had worked in veterinary locum positions all over the country. She enjoys all aspects of being a vet with particular interests in small animal medicine and helping people achieve responsible and rewarding pet ownership. As she enjoys writing she is often involved in producing newsletters and handouts for the practice.
After another chance to travel and work in the UK for two years, Anna rejoined MVH in 2004. Since then, she and her husband Mike have added a black spoodle, Bentleigh, and most recently, a baby boy, Robbie, to their family. Since having Robbie, Anna has returned to work at MVH on a part time basis, working some weekends and the occasional weekday shift.
As well as spending time with her family, cooking and entertaining, Anna enjoys reading and is a member of the Moorabbin Dog Obedience Club.
