Kristina graduated from Melbourne University in 1999 with honors in Bachelor of Veterinary Science. She began working in country Victoria and the travel bug hit and she moved to the UK to work and explore some of the world before returning to Melbourne to settle down. Kristina has a particular interest in diagnostic imaging and surgery. She has completed a post graduate course in diagnostic imaging and plans to continue to advance herself in both these fields.

At home Kristina has two cats. Mika was rescued from a drain by a fireman, and Preston was looking for a new home for a long time until Kristina came along and rescued him. She has recently finished renovating her home and now fills her spare time going to the gym, doing yoga and has just taken up scuba diving.
