Dr John Ley has been a Veterinarian since 1991. He is a keen surgeon being a surgical member of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists, and has completed a Masters of Veterinary Clinical Studies. John is an accredited veterinarian for the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service (AQIS) and an academic associate of the University of Melbourne.

John has enjoyed lots of great experiences as a vet but perhaps the best is seeing sick or injured pets recovered and back on their feet again. “The best thing is seeing how happy they are when coming out of hospital and recognising their owners”.

Outside work, John’s main interests centers on his two boys, Mark and Lucas. He helps run the local Cub Scout group, loves surfing and supporting the Magpies.
