In 2000, Dr Sarah Park and her husband Stefan went overseas and did various veterinary locums in the UK and lots of travel in Europe. On her return, Sarah did an internship at a Veterinary Specialist Hospital in Sydney in 2001 before joining MVH in 2002.

Sarah owns Molly, a rescued stray kitten, who is now a rather spoilt cat and Scooter, a cheeky terrier cross, obtained from the RSPCA in 2005. Sarah’s pre-baby interests included cooking, hiking, gardening and eating out. Having welcomed baby Edward into the world in June 2006 and Lora in August 2009, all of these are on hold for now as she says she is rather preoccupied with him for the time being!

Sarah passed her College Membership exams in Veterinary Medicine in 2004 and she says she is thinking about doing some further study when things settle down at home again. Sarah has recently returned to work on a very part time basis, working roughly a weekend a month and occasional weekday shifts.
