Nicole
Nicole has been a professional dog groomer for over 13 years
and has been running “Nicole’s Poodle Parlour”
on the MVH premises since 2000. She loves working with dogs
and derives lots of satisfaction from seeing them going
home happy and excited after their grooming experience.
Sometimes we can’t believe the transformations that
Nicole produces – we have seen dogs come in who are
shaggy, dirty and matted and they bounce out in the afternoon
looking clean, shiny and perfectly groomed.
Nicole says that when she first started grooming many years
ago, she owned American Pit Bull Terriers and didn’t
think she liked little dogs. Within a year of grooming she
got her first little dog – a Maltese X Silky Terrier
and she has loved little dogs ever since. She now owns two
Miniature Poodles (Joshua and Bella), two Standard Poodles
(Dallas and Bosun), a Toy Poodle (Sebastian), one cat (Seiko),
six Guinea Pigs and three mice. In her spare time she enjoys
walking the dogs, reading and shopping. She says she would
love to go on holiday with her husband and young son and
daughter, but it is a bit difficult with so many dogs! In
the past Nicole has rescued quite a few cats and dogs and
found good homes for them and her dream is to one day open
a rescue service especially for Poodles, Dobermans and Persian
cats. |
