Brian Goy
Dr Brian Goy has been at MVH since March 1977. Having been
with the practice for over 25 years, Brian says he loves
the fact that he can help clients whom he has known for
a long time now. He keeps his veterinary knowledge up to
date by attending regular seminars in small animal medicine
and surgery. Outside work, Brian’s main interests
centre on his young family. He has two boys and Brian is
involved with teaching reading and sports at the local primary
school.

His wife is a garden designer and so gardening is a big
part of their weekends. They have participated in the Open
Garden scheme twice. Brian has Lilly, a heeler cross kelpie.
Together the family enjoys bike riding, walking and skiing.
Brian goes to the gym twice a week before work in order
to stay fit enough to keep up with his active family. |

Jenny Wilsher
Dr Jenny Wilsher has worked at MVH since 1991. Jenny has a
special interest in canine and feline medicine and has attained
her Membership (in Small Animal Medicine) of the Australian
College of Veterinary Scientists. She loves being a vet because
she enjoys helping people, improving the quality of animals’
lives and observing the human-animal bond. Jenny grew up on
a farm in New Zealand and she remembers being fascinated as
a child whenever the country vet visited the farm. Jenny has
two Border Terriers named Josie and Leon, and two cats called
Remus and Nina. Jenny is completing a Diploma in Practice
Management. Her main interests in her spare time include bushwalking,
kayaking, camping, movies and travel. |

John Ley
Dr John Ley started at MVH in 2005. John is a keen surgeon
and has attained his Membership (in Surgery) of the Australian
College of Veterinary Scientists. He also has an interest
in feline medicine and has completed a Masters of Veterinary
Clinical Studies. John is an accredited veterinarian for
the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service (AQIS)
which means he can deal with all the necessary requirements
for taking pets overseas. He is also an academic associate
of the University of Melbourne and coordinates Veterinary
student work experience at MVH. John says he has had lots
of lovely experiences as a veterinarian but perhaps the
best is seeing how happy people are when their sick or injured
pet recovers and is back on their feet again. John owns
two German Shorthaired Pointers, called Cricket, Griff and
a domestic shorthaired cat called Spit. He also owns a tank
full of Rainbow Fish. In his spare time, John, a mad Magpies
supporter, enjoys keeping fit and spending time with his
wife and twin boys.

| Stephen
Kalff
Stephen started at MVH in April 2007 having returned from
a two year stint working as a veterinarian for a large companion
animal hospital in the UK and backpacking around Europe.
Prior to his travels, Stephen worked in one of Melbourne’s
a Veterinary Emergency Hospital and so he has a special
interest and experience in emergency medicine and surgery.
His other special interests include oncology and surgery
and he is pursuing extra study in these fields. Stephen
has recently become an accredited veterinarian with AQIS
and so, like John, he can assist clients with pets who need
to travel overseas. In his spare time he likes to walk Maggie,
his 4 year old German Shepherd. On the weekends he plays
hockey and gets the adrenaline pumping by going mountain-biking
and snowboarding. A keen supporter of the Geelong Football
Club, he was very proud to witness the mighty Cats win the
2007 premiership at the G. |

| Caroline
Perrin
Caroline started at MVH in June 2007. She has worked in
Melbourne and spent a couple of years working in the United
Kingdom and travelling around Europe. After becoming fed
up with the English “summers” she decided to
return home to settle in Melbourne. She holds a special
interest in behavioural medicine, and has attained Membership
of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists in this
field. Caroline continues to feed her passion for animal
behaviour through further research and study and when not
working at MVH, she maintains a behavioural consultancy
business. She owns Lily, a lilac Burmese cat, who is a great
source of fun and mischief. When she is not working, studying
or being harassed by Lily, Caroline is a keen distance runner
and regularly competes in half marathons. |

Sarah Park
In 2000, Dr Sarah Park and her husband Stefan went overseas
and did various veterinary locums in the UK and lots of travel
in Europe. On her return, Sarah did an internship at a Veterinary
Specialist Hospital in Sydney in 2001 before joining MVH in
2002. Sarah owns Molly, a rescued stray kitten, who is now
a rather spoilt cat and Scooter, a cheeky terrier cross, obtained
from the RSPCA in 2005. Sarah’s pre-baby interests included
cooking, hiking, gardening and eating out. Having welcomed
baby Edward into the world in June 2006, all of these are
on hold for now as she says she is rather preoccupied with
him for the time being! Sarah passed her College Membership
exams in Veterinary Medicine in 2004 and she says she is thinking
about doing some further study when things settle down at
home again. Sarah has recently returned to work on a very
part time basis, working roughly a weekend a month and occasional
weekday shifts |

| Anna
Watts
Dr Anna Watts first joined MVH in 2000. She had previous
veterinary experience in Melbourne and England, where she
had worked in veterinary locum positions all over the country.
She enjoys all aspects of being a vet with particular interests
in small animal medicine and helping people achieve responsible
and rewarding pet ownership. As she enjoys writing she is
often involved in producing newsletters and handouts for
the practice. After another chance to travel and work in
the UK for two years, Anna rejoined MVH in 2004. Since then,
she and her husband Mike have added a black spoodle, Bentleigh,
and most recently, a baby boy, Robbie, to their family.
Since having Robbie, Anna has returned to work at MVH on
a part time basis, working some weekends and the occasional
weekday shift. As well as spending time with her family,
cooking and entertaining, Anna enjoys reading and is a member
of the Moorabbin Dog Obedience Club. |
