Don't worry. We have two fully equipped operating theatres. All surgical cases are maintained under anaesthetic using the latest and safest drugs. Monitoring equipment keeps check on the patient's heart rate and blood oxygen level. All surgical procedures are performed with at least one veterinarian and one trained nurse.

Our x-ray machine is capable of taking quality radiographs of everything from the largest dog’s abdomen to the smallest kitten’s paw.

The radiographs are automatically developed on site using a high-tech automatic developer. We can have a radiograph ready for viewing within 6 minutes.

When we need imaging of another sort we can turn to our ultrasound unit. This gives us moving images of the internal organs such as the heart, liver, spleen and bladder. Ultrasound machines use safe ultrasonic waves to help visualize the organ tissues.

This unit is also of great value in pregnancy diagnosis where x-rays may pose a risk to the developing foetuses.

We have a sophisticated dental machine that allows us to perform ultrasonic scaling of teeth. This enables us to remove all calculus, tartar and plaque from your pet’s teeth, safely and efficiently.

The machine also has a dental bur that allows for more efficient extractions, should they be required.

Finally, the machine has a high-speed polishing head. The polishing head is used in the final stages of the dental to ensure your pet’s teeth will be left sparkling clean. The polished surfaces of the teeth make it more difficult for plaque to attach so it also helps your pet’s teeth stay cleaner and healthier for longer.
