Michelle

Michelle joined Moorabbin Veterinary Hospital in 2001. From a young age, she knew she wanted to work with animals, having grown up surrounded by a wide variety!

Over the years, Michelle has developed a strong passion for all aspects of veterinary nursing, particularly surgical nursing and anaesthesia. Now in her role as Practice Coordinator, she focuses primarily on administration while continuing to oversee and support the nursing team. Her leadership and experience play a vital role in the smooth day-to-day running of the hospital.

Michelle and her husband have a young daughter and an adorable Boston Terrier, Pingu! Michelle also enjoys reading, baking, playing netball and spending time with her family.

Wildlife & H5 Bird Flu – Important Information

We continue to provide care for injured wildlife, including wild birds. However, due to the detection of H5 bird flu in Victoria, please call us before bringing any wild bird to the clinic. Our team will assess the situation and advise you on the safest next steps.

If you find multiple sick or dead birds, or a bird showing unusual neurological or respiratory signs, please avoid contact with the bird and contact the Emergency Animal Disease Hotline on 1800 675 888.

Please report even a single sick or dead seabird, waterbird, shorebird or bird of prey.
Do not handle dead birds.
