The best care available
Our top priority is to make sure your pet is well looked after at all times. If your pet needs to stay the night, we actively maintain pain relief and patient warmth to keep them as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Moorabbin Veterinary Hospital has top-of-the-range equipment and processes for a wide range of emergency care:
- Digital x-rays and ultrasound scanning
- Blood and urine analysis
- Intravenous fluid pumps
- Surgical operations
- Oxygen therapy
- Medication from our fully-stocked pharmacy.
We also encourage coming in to visit your pet, in the same way that you would visit a sick friend or relative. This can help cheer you both up and can make them feel calmer and generally more relaxed. ย
Being prepared
We understand that, in the case of an emergency, you can start to feel quite flustered.
Bookings are not required, but please try and call before coming in. This allows the Moorabbin Veterinary Hospital team to be completely prepared and ready to act as soon as you arrive. Additionally, this can allow us to assess the situation and provide the best guidance on how to proceed.
