With clear blue-and-white veterinary signage, free onsite parking accessible from both sides of South Road, a safe rear-hospital driveway for fast reception access, and staff ready to assist, we make getting your pet in and out of the vehicle quick, calm and seamless.

What happens when I arrive at the clinic?

Our front door opens automatically when it detects dogs, otherwise simply press the green button to enter. Let reception know you’ve arrived and our team will guide you in.

Dogs are weighed and microchips scanned on arrival, while cats remain calm in their carrier, ideally covered or with a light blanket over the top for added comfort.

We offer separate cat and dog waiting areas, and if reception becomes busy or noisy, we may take you straight into a consult room to keep the environment stress-free for your pet.

How long will the appointment take?

Most first appointments take 30 minutes, during which we will:

  • Discuss your pet’s history, lifestyle, and concerns
  • Perform a thorough physical examination
  • Explain findings clearly
  • Recommend any diagnostics or preventive care

You may receive an optional pre-visit history form to improve efficiency.

Routine appointments are typically booked a few days in advance, with same-day visits offered whenever possible, while emergencies are always prioritised, and our multiple consult rooms allow us to handle a high caseload efficiently.

What if I’m running late or need to cancel?

If you’re running late, call reception—we’ll do our best to still see you or arrange a reschedule, and if you need to cancel, please provide as much notice as possible so we can offer your appointment to another patient.

Do you offer house calls?

Do you offer second opinions?
